Discovered in the late 1700s, titanium metal has quickly become the darling in architecture, medical and dental fields as well as a prevalent choice in other technologies. It has been in the past 50 years when titanium has become known and used in more areas of technology. When you also add into the mix that the metal, while considered a contaminant of iron ore, is as plentiful as copper, lead, nickel and zinc, you can see why it has become more prevalently used.
